Artistic Story
Before I made this bag, I kept seeing black flowers blooming in and out of ash while meditating. That image stayed with me: something beautiful that you couldn’t get too close to. The flower and its thorns belong to the same organism. I wanted the piece to hold vulnerability and protection together, with room for both masculine and feminine qualities. I liked that it could attract someone and make them uneasy at the same time.
Design
A dark bloom becomes a bag carried by hand. Black petals and thorns surround an integrated handle. The lightweight body has a fractured finish painted by hand.
Carry & What Fits
Carry it by hand. Its compact interior is designed for smaller personal essentials, such as cards, keys, and earbuds, rather than larger everyday items like a phone.
Materials & Care
A combination of bio poly fibers and durable clay. Protect the projecting petals and thorns from hard knocks and drops.
